New Stock, plenty of Sun and some Skull Skates

2 Feb

We just got some fresh stock in over at the Main Street store, the 3rd installment of the S&M QP, my favorite one yet, lots and lots of trails, lots of Isaac Barnes clips and footage from their trips, and only $8!

We can go one better than that for value and offer Part 1(comes with the box), Part 2 and Part 3 all for only $20!! while stock lasts.

Also check out Orchid’s new V2 of the popular Van Homan shoe that we got in for someone, they also come in gum/rust(tan) and blue/black/green. These retail for $99.

Expected in later again this week are more of the popular Animal Butcher Aluminum pegs with the replaceable plastic sleeves!

We were lucky enough to get out over the last few days of sun and get some shredding done! The new, New West park in Queensborough looks pretty sweet, other than it having a coating of frost when we went out there… We’ll be back out there to sample the frost free cement soon enough.

That took us to the always dry microclimate of Metrotown to shred Bonsor skatepark for a bit, met up with shop riders Jason Teet and Jordan Hango who were ripping, expect to see quality photos of them up on Paul Moffat’s blog, MUFFINANDPEDAL.

In the meantime you will have to make do with this poorly taken photo of Jordan tiresliding the oververt part of the bowl with his head cut off!

Here a quick snap of Jordan’s new ride, repping FIT hard with the FIT Eddie C frame, FIT Forks, FIT stem, FIT high bars, Fit grips, Fit Sprocket. He’s rocking the Eclat Cranks and Cassette hub, G-sport hub in the front and oh yeah, FIT tires

That made for 2 Bonsor sessions this week! Sunday saw Team NZ in full force with Paul Moffat again in attendance along with Richard Gregory and Mike Davies who put a photo of me up from that day over on Zombie BMX.

Also there on Sunday was good friend of the shop PD of Skull Skates fame getting his shred on with a bunch of his crew.

Speaking of Skull Skates, we still have their 26 inch wheel BMX cruisers in both the Main Street and Broadway stores. Only 100 of these were made, they come equipped with a Brooks saddle and the legendary Skull Skates Bars, so get your hands on one before they are gone!

Also worth checking out this page from over on Skull Skates site to some of the custom builds people have done over the years. We have a few of the frame and fork kits that come with a headset and BB so you can build your own cruiser from scratch!
