Devon’s Custom Conversion

19 Mar

This was a fun project for us to get to work on. Devon had us put together a custom SKULL SKATES cruiser for him last year. That ones up on the CUSTOM BIKE BUILDS page to check out.

The S&S Newport cruiser needed to be friendlier for towing a trailer, so he decided to lace a 36 hole 3 speed Sturmey Archer hub to an Araya 7x.

We had to get creative with the cable routing to keep it looking tidy. Some better quality brake levers were needed for added stopping power.

As if the Newport wasn’t already sweet enough, he went for a layback seatpost with the brace and the ever popular BROOKS B17 in blue.

    Hi guys,
thank you very much for your help and quick response about a serial number for my stollen bike. Special thanks to the people from your Broadway store and your accountant (I’m sorry, I didn’t catch their names). I hope this will help and I will get my bike back. I’ll keep you posted. You are the best bike shop in Vancouver. Always helpful and friendly!
